SLED Safeguard SC: Classroom Training Annual Recertification

This four-hour annual in-service course is required for all SLED-certified security training officers. Participants receive the latest updates from SLED and are tested on both the annual updates and general instructor training knowledge.

Required Materials
Students must bring:

Notebook and black pen(s)
Laptop and charger (or another device capable of running PowerPoint and Word)
Valid SLED Registered Security Officer ID card and SLED instructor number
Driver's license or state-issued photo ID

Registration
Registration is required and must be completed online or by calling 843-574-6152. Walk-in registrations are not permitted.
To request a refund or a one-time reschedule, contact Continuing Education at ce.reg@tridenttech.edu or 843-574-6152. Requests must be received before 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday prior to the class start date. No registrations, refunds, or transfers will be processed after that deadline. No exceptions.
