Learn the principles and guidelines for assigning the appropriate medical codes to diagnostic conditions and medical procedures. Medical terminology, anatomy and HIPAA guidelines are also included. The program will teach and prepare students for a career working as a certified professional coder in an outpatient medical office. The program has 2 parts and is an intensive six-month long program; first learning online for 7 weeks, then learning on campus for 14 weeks two (2) evenings per week
on Main Campus. Attendance is very strict.
