Career Development Facilitator (CDF) Training
This 12 week asynchronous Facilitating Career Development training is designed to prepare participants for the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) credential while cultivating professional identity, applied competency mastery, and systems level leadership capacity in career development practice.
Participants engage in structured instructional lessons, guided research, applied competency assignments, and development of a comprehensive Capstone Project. The Capstone culminates in a fully developed, implementation-ready career development solution tailored to the participant’s professional setting.
This course emphasizes real world application, ethical practice, equity centered design, and workforce alignment.

This course is open to anyone interested in learning how to support career planning and workforce readiness. No prior credential or experience is required. Completion of the course fulfills the training requirement to apply for the NCDA Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) or the CCE Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) credential. Additional requirements, such as supervised experience and application fees, are determined by the certifying organizations. Some employers may require one of these credentials for specific career services positions.
