This course is designed for riders who have a permit or motorcycle license and possess basic skills. The goal of this course is to help you further refine your motorcycle handling skills and grow your confidence in your riding ability. This course meets South Carolina law for an insurance discount, so contact your insurance carrier for eligibility. Students must pass both an e-course and riding assessment. Course consists of 2 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of practical application (riding). Student riders are required to have the following items: Eye protection (sunglasses, prescription lenses OK) and over ankle footwear, full face or 3/4 helmet (half helmets not permitted, helmets may be available for use). Students can provide a street-legal, insured and fully registered motorcycle, proof of ownership is required or check with your local provider if you would like to use a range motorcycle. Students with a learner's permit who successfully complete this course are eligible for the License Waiver Test. Prerequisites: Students must have either an M class motorcycle license, motorcycle license endorsement or a motorcycle learner's permit.
