SLED Safeguard SC: Classroom Training Annual Recertification

As a SLED certified security training officer, this four-hour yearly in service is mandatory for all security instructors. You receive all yearly updates from SLED, and are tested on the updates and general knowledge of the training material.

You must register online. No walk-ins permitted. You may reschedule or request a refund one time by email at ce.reg@tridenttech.edu or call 843-574-6152. All requests must be given 48 hours prior to your class start date. No refunds or transfers are granted after 12:00 p.m., Friday. No exceptions.

You are required to bring the following items to class:

• a notebook and black pen(s)
• laptop and charger (or any device capable of running PowerPoint and Word)
• your SLED registered security officer ID card and SLED instructor number
• your driver's license/state-issued ID
