SLED Safeguard SC: Classroom Instructor Training (40 Hours)

You must be currently registered with SLED as a security officer with a licensed security company to attend this training. SLED must approve all participants. Teach a 20-minute block of instruction on a security topic of your choice. You must achieve a minimum score of 80% on both the written examination and oral presentation.

You must register online. No walk-ins permitted. You may reschedule or request a refund one time by email at ce.reg@tridenttech.edu or call 843-574-6152. All requests must be given 48 hours prior to your class start date. No refunds or transfers are granted after 5:00 p.m., Wednesday. No exceptions.

You are required to bring the following items to class:

• a notebook and black pen(s)
• a laptop and charger (or any device capable of running PowerPoint and Word)
• your SLED registered security officer ID card
• your driver's license/state-issued ID
